Our Mission
The Homestead Incorporated of Nantucket was founded in 1919 as a private non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to senior adults. Over the years the Homestead has been able to offer individuals a comfortable family environment for those choosing a more simplified and carefree lifestyle. It has been over 100 years since the founding of The Homestead, as we celebrate this incredible achievement with fundraisers, gatherings with friends and neighbors, and open houses, we continue to be inspired by the quiet, straight forward mission The Homestead embraces.

Please join us on Saturday April 5th 2025 at 5:30PM at The American Legion Hall
for our annual “Paint the Town Red” fundraiser.
This event features a prime rib dinner (alternate entrée available),
music, door prizes, auctions and more!
